Washington alloy Company is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Quality Management System and Wholesale Distribution of Welding Filler Metals and Accessories.

Washington Alloy Company utilizes both domestic and international resources in order to develop and maintain the highest level of product integrity and quality standards. Upon delivery, both finished and semi-finished products are inspected for proper identification and labeling. All heat and/or lot numbers are checked against the manufacturer test reports and verified using an Acromag Thermoelectric Metal Tester.  The heat number is then certified as being able to meet the intended or required specification. From this moment, strict traceability is maintained throughout the various stages of processing and packaging.

Semi-finished products are straightened and cut or spooled according to the customers need or "work in progress" form. Wires are chemically or mechanically cleaned in order to prevent contamination of the weld deposit. Wires are micrometer tested to insure diameter tolerance. Finished wires are Thermoelectric tested for final verification. The wires are tagged, color-coded or packaged according to the customers need. All material is properly labeled to include the alloy/specification, heat number, diameter, net weight and processing date. Material Test Reports are furnished for each heat number. Material Safety Data Sheets are available for each alloy.
